The solution

Technology that sees the risk.

IP cameras, on-site AI and instant alerts: from the camera's view to an audit-ready record.

System architecture

From the camera's view to the report.

Every step runs close to where the risk is, and every alert leaves a record.

  1. 01

    IP camera

IP cameras, already installed or new, pointed at entrances and risk areas.

  2. 02

    Edge device (AI)

An on-site device runs the model and detects people and PPE, without sending video to the cloud.

  3. 03

    PPE rules per zone

Each zone defines which PPE is mandatory, where and at what times.

  4. 04

    Alerts

When a rule is violated, the warning goes out right away on the team's channels.

    • Web dashboard
    • Telegram
    • Vigiles app
  5. 05

    Reports and audit

History with evidence and compliance reports by area and period.

Computer vision

A model trained to see PPE.

Vigiles uses computer vision: an object-detection model trained to recognize people and PPE (helmet, harness and lanyard, mask or respirator, vest, glasses and gloves) in images from ordinary cameras.

Every detection comes with a confidence level. The system compares what it saw with the zone's rules and decides: compliant access or alert. It does not identify who the person is, only what they are wearing.

Edge computing

Processing on site changes everything.

Video is analyzed on the device installed at the facility, not on a distant server.

  • Fast response

With no round trip to the cloud, the alert goes out almost at the moment of detection.

  • Unstable internet does not stop detection

In the field, connections fail. The analysis runs on site and does not depend on it.

  • Privacy by default

Video does not leave the facility to be analyzed, and the system does no facial recognition.

Dashboard and alerts

One central panel. Alerts where your team already is.

  • Web dashboard

Real-time monitoring, event history with evidence (the camera frame) and compliance reports by area and period.

  • Telegram

A bot sends alerts to people or team groups. Zero extra installation.

  • Vigiles app Coming soon

Smartphone app, in development: push notifications with custom rules by area, PPE type, shift, severity and responsible person.

Compliance

Regulations Vigiles helps you meet.

Continuous evidence that safety rules are being followed at every entry.

  • NR-6

    Personal Protective Equipment

Checks that the required PPE is in use and records every occurrence.

  • NR-31

Safety and health in rural work

Supports safety control in rural storage and silos, with an auditable history.

  • NR-33

    Confined spaces

Checks PPE before entry and records every access to the risk area.

  • NR-35

    Work at height

Detects the absence of a safety harness and lanyard on elevated access.

Vigiles supports compliance with the regulations and the generation of evidence. It does not replace the technical lead, the entry permit or the other required controls.

Environments

Where Vigiles works.

  • Silos
  • Grain warehouses
  • Hoppers
  • Conveyor tunnels
  • Tanks
  • Industrial confined spaces

Privacy and LGPD

Worker safety without watching the person.

  • No facial recognition

Vigiles detects PPE; it does not identify people.

  • On-site processing

The analysis happens on the facility's device; video is not sent to the cloud.

  • Configurable retention

You define how long alert evidence stays stored.

The big picture

The size of the problem, with sources.

There is no specific code for agricultural warehouses in the Brazilian social-security classification, and the problem is under-reported. (Source: Ambiente Brasil / BBC, 2018)

FAQ

What people ask most.

In most cases, no: Vigiles works with IP cameras. In the demo we assess your camera setup (position, resolution and lighting) and tell you what can be reused.

Detection runs on site and does not depend on the internet. For alerts to reach Telegram and the app, some connection is needed; we discuss the options for your environment in the demo.

Through the web dashboard, through Telegram (a bot that sends to people or groups) and, soon, through the Vigiles smartphone app. All alerts are recorded for audit.

Yes. Rules can be defined by area, PPE type, shift, severity level and responsible person. In the Vigiles app, which is in development, this is configured right on the phone.

Lighting and dust affect any computer-vision system. In the pilot we assess each installation point, adjust camera and lighting, and validate accuracy in your environment before you depend on the results.

The pilot is a test period at one or more entry points in your environment, with support from our team and a joint review of the results. Details are agreed case by case: get in touch.
